Maratheftiko
Maratheftiko is a red grape variety indigenous to Cyprus, historically difficult to grow because most vines produce only female flowers and require a nearby pollinator vine. It yields deeply coloured, full-bodied wines with firm tannins, dark fruit character, and good ageing potential.
