Zambartas Xynisteri
Xynisteri is the most widely planted white grape in Cyprus, and for a long time it was underestimated. Traditionally, it was used mainly for bulk wine or for Commandaria, but over the last couple of decades it’s really shown its potential. What makes Xynisteri special is its versatility, it’s a true chameleon. Depending on where it’s grown and how it’s made, it can be fresh and citrusy, textured and mineral, or even complex enough to age.
